Barcelona striker Thierry Henry feels that the Spanish giants demonstrated that they have the fortitude to see off Chelsea in the Champions League semi-final following their Primera Division draw with Valencia on Saturday.

Los Cules fought back from 2-1 down at the Mestalla to earn a vital point thanks to an 85th minute equaliser from the French international.

La Blaugrana have been installed as favourites to win Europe's top competition this season and the 31-year-old believes they have the mettle and the nerve to give themselves a chance to lift the trophy by beating the Blues to book a place in the final.

"We showed what courage we have as a side," Henry is quoted as saying by The Daily Mail.

"That was the type of performance that wins you trophies. We lost our concentration twice and they made us pay but we are a brave team and we came back into the game.

"Now all our attention turns to Chelsea, Real Madrid and then Chelsea again."
